Formerly known Pambansang Krung Krung, Sandara Park is no longer a “krung krung”(crazy) with her group 2NE1 composed of leader CL, Bom and Minzy after the multi awarded K-pop female group graces the recently concluded Mnet Asian Music Awards 2011 and brought home 2 awards such as Best Vocal Performance for “Lonely” and a ‘Daesang Award’ (Top Award) Song of the Year for “I Am the Best”.
Sandara Park who rises to fame after being the 2nd placer in a talent search TV show, Star Circle Quest Teen Edition is now a superstar not only in Korea but through the world with of course her group 2NE1.
2NE1 who leads number of nominations in 6 categories ended 2 awards only for this year compare to last year where the group nailed also 6 nominations but triumphed 4 awards including 2 Daesangs Album of the Year and Artist of the Year. But still, they look happy and cheerful upon receiving their awards. We just loved and always love Sandara Park immensed reaction like a kid especially when their group are called as winner in a certain category. Actor Ji Sung (Save The Last Dance, Protect The Boss) handed the trophy to Sandy! Wow! And take note Han Hyo Joo (Shining Inheritance), and now her latest drama Dong Yi which currently airs in GMA is the presenter of the said award “Song of the Year alongside Sung. Sandara-Sung-Hyo Joo, these three artist look good together. Want a drama soon for these 3 celebrities.
There are also international and top celebrities who attended the said ceremony like favorites Yoon Eun Hye (My Fair Lady, Lie To Me), Lee Byung Hun (Iris), Song Seung Hun, Song Joong Ki, Park Si Hoo, Ji Sung (Save The Last Dance), Ko Soo, Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Hee Sun, Han Chae Young (oNLY yOU), Han Hyo Joo (Dong Yi) and Kim Min Hee. Also present in the said event are Kang Sora, Bae Soo Bin, Nam Gyu Ri, Park Si Yeon, Yoon Seong Ah, Kim Sung Soo and Oh Ji Ho.
