The series’ setting is transposed of meadows and vineyards. The story centers on ill-fated lovers, Marco (Richard Gomez) and Emily (Dawn Zulueta) who, after what seems to be a perfect relationship, are tested by fate to see how strong their love can be. However they fail the challenge and reality intrudes and the lovers part. Years later, as if time repeats itself, two star-crossed lovers, Daniel (Coco Martin) and Katarina (Julia Montes) meet, developing an undying love, but the question arises, will their love remain strong or will they end up like Marco and Emily, separated by the violent surge of lust, passion, remorse, and retribution?
