'Himig Handog P-Pop Love Song' 2013 Winners To Reveal Tonight; Our Top 3 Fearless Picks Unveiled!

The musical event that gave us no. 1 and chart topping singles from years before namely Kung Ako Na Lang Sana, This Guy’s In Love With You Pare, Hanggang, and many more, comes another season’s of elevating Original Pinoy Music (OPM) to music lovers. ‘Himig Handog P-Pop Love Song‘ 2013 will reveal their winners tonight, February 24, 2013 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The night will be filled by 12 songs made by 12 recognized and aspiring song-writers in the Philippines which are performed by 12 talented singers in the country. The Kapamilya artists who will be performing live are the following:

• Yeng Constantino for “Alaala”
• Aiza Seguerra for “Anong Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa”
• Toni Gonzaga for “Kahit Na”
• Daniel Padilla for “Nasa Iyo Na Ang Lahat”
• Angeline Quinto for “One Day”
• Bugoy Drilon for “Puwede Bang Ako Na Lang Ulit”
• Jovit Baldivino for “Sana’y Magbalik”
• KZ Tandingan for “Scared To Death”
• Erik Santos for “This Song Is For You”
• Juris Fernandez for “Hanggang Wakas”
• Marion Aunor for “If You Ever Change Your Mind”
• Wynn Andrada for“Tamang Panahon.”

Two last two young songwriter-finalists in the list above will be the interpreters of their own compositions.

Special guests for the night include Bamboo, Zia Quizon, Abra, Young JV, past Himig Handog interpreters Bituin Escalante, Anna Fegi and Mr. Martin Nievera.

Himig Handog P-pop Love Songs will be hosted by Xian Lim, Matteo Guidicelli, Megan Young and Kim Chiu. The event will be executed under the direction of Mr. Johnny Manahan, with musical director Gerard Salonga together with the ABS CBN Philharmonic Orchestra.
