Marian Rivera Beats Nora Aunor for Best Actress in 10th Golden Screen TV Awards 2013


Kapuso top actress Marian Rivera bested the one and only Superstar Nora Aunor for Best Actress in the recently concluded 10th Golden Screen TV Awards 2013!

Marian received the said recognition for her excellent performance in GMA‘s number 1 Primetime series Amaya where she played a strong female warrior who is committed in fighting for justice. She beats Nora who starred in TV5‘s Political Series Sa Ngalan Ng Ina. The latter on the other hand won the Best Actress Trophy in PMPC Star Awards for TV 2013 while Marian was snub by PMPC in the nomination list. Her co-star in Amaya, Rochelle Pangilinan instead made it to the Best Actress final cut.

On the other picture, Gerald Anderson defeats Coco Martin in the Best Actor category while ABS-CBN took home the Best TV Station Award.
