In her TPO petition which has a 30-day validity from the date of issuance, the multi-award winning host asked the court to order the PBA player “to stay away from her, her 5-year-old son Bimby and any household member, to keep a distance of at least 100 meters, and to stay away from her residence, school, place of employment or any place frequented by her and her son.”

The said petition can be subject for permanency. It is catered and served by the Republic Act 9262 otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women And Their Children Act  which is as an order to protect victims of domestic violence from further harassment or harm by their spouses or partners.

Attached to it is her revelation of her former husband’s alleged blatant sexual actions towards her, overstepping his boundaries and of attempting to seduce her while visiting her home, and of inflicting psychological harm on their son Bimby.” According to Kris, his actions and statements violated her rights as a woman.

This scene was allegedly witnessed by their son Bimby who was highly upset and agitated on that time. According to Kris, Bimby gets agitated and disturbed every time Bimby hears the “strong voice” of his father specially when they are having arguments.

Kris Aquino is now asking for a Permanent Protection Order (PPO) which will totally prohibit access to Bimby (and Kris) until the child reaches 18 years old (Bimby is 5 years old).

James Yap in Teary Eyes

It’s unusual to see a tough basketball player crying in front of a camera. Well, James Yap just serves him right and earns more sympathies with his sad teary eyes during his interview with regards to the TPO against him which was filed by ex partner Kris Aquino.

The PBA’s MVP reveals that he does not care anymore about Kris but vows to fight for his son even even to the extent of risking his basketball career.

“Handa nako masira ang career ko, ang buhay ko, basta maipakita ko sa anak ko na ipinaglaban ko siya. Wala na akong pakialam kay Kris. Gusto ko lang makasama ang anak ko.”

James even stressed a very intriguing statement about Kris’s alleged warning against him quoting:

“Baka nakalimutan mo,may 3 years pa ang brother ko. Nakita mo ba kung saan na ang mga ex ko ngayon, wala ng mga career, baka ganun gawin ko sa’yo, isang iyak ko lang sa TV, maniniwala na sakin yung mga tao.” (Have you forgotten, that my brother has 3 more years in his position (President of the Philippines). Have you witnessed how my exs went down? They don’t have careers now, I can do the same with you, one cry on TV, people will believe me.)

James firmly states that he will continue fighting for his rights as a father of Bimby.
