Angel Locsin Takes 3rd Best Actress Award For 2013 via FAMAS After Snubbed By ENPRESS

It was her who swept Best Actress Award last year via In The Name of Love. This year it still Angel Locsin who is currently sweeping the same award. She just received her 3rd Best Actress Award for her stellar performance in MMFF 2012 Best Picture One More Try in the recently concluded Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Science Awards 2013 (FAMAS). But why did Enpress Awards 2013 snubbed her on their own nomination list?!

angel locsin famas best actress 2013The Toda Max star already won same recognition in 29th PMPC Star Awards for Movies and 44th Box-Office Entertainment Awards by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation but was later snubbed by 10th Golden Screen Awards for Movies on their nomination list for Best Actress in a Leading Role Drama category which contains the names of her co-star in One More Try Angelica Panganiban, Agot Isidro, Bea Alonzo, Gina Alajar, Iza Calzado, Janice de Belen, Jodi Sta. Maria, Judy Ann Santos, LJ Reyes and Nora Aunor.

“To my Star Cinema family, esp to Tita Malou Santos, Inang Olive Lamasan, direk Ruel Bayani, One more try team, adprom, abs-cbn family, sa mga nanuod at nagbigay ng nakakatabang pusong reviews, sa Angels, at sa lahat ho ng bumubuo ng FAMAS, buong puso po akong nagpapasalamat sa inyo!!!,” Angel happily said.

Did ENPREESS favors their own candidates? We don’t know but with these number of awards, Angel definitely deserve a spot in Best Actress nomination list.
