Due To The Extermination Of Wowowee, GMA Dominates Daytime Race Against Former Leader ABS-CBN Both Nationwide And Mega Manila!

The Kapuso network (GMA) managed to be consistent with its high ratings in daytime race in both Kantar Media Nationwide and AGB Nielsen Peoples Ratings.

The line-up of drama series of GMA paves the way for the network to boost their daytime block with Blusang Itim, Sinner or Saint, Pahiram Ng Isang Ina and Sisid who were consistent in the top 10 tv shows in both Kantar and AGB. Contrary to ABS-CBN, line up consisting The Fierce Wife, Kapamilya Blockbuster, Frijolito and Reputasyon which only garnered 1 digit ratings.

This is probably due to the extermination of hit noon time show, Wowowee hosted by Willie Revillame who is now in Kapatid network, TV5 with his Mega Manila hit Night time variety show, Will Time, Big Time.

Wowewee enabled the Kapamilya network to penetrate a 20% above ratings in daytime before. In consequence, its succeeding noon time drama series have taken advantage to gain high ratings as well. But now due to its absence, it disabled the afternoon block of ABS-CBN.

Its former rival noon tine show, Eat Bulaga hosted by Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon and Tito Sotto is now enjoying a very high ratings of more than 20% ratings nationwide and ranks 1st in the daytime race.

ABS-CBN has recently change their schedule for afternoon block. It will start with HYY, Reputasyon, The Fierce Wife, Kpamilya Blockbuster, and I Dare You! Only the latter claims high ratings among those shows.

While GMA retains its most watch afternoon block!
